There are two ways to add a landing to a block.
Option 1:
Adding a Landing Using an Existing Deckbox Edge
Click the edge where you want to add the Landing (Top, Right, Bottom, or Left).
The Edit Edge modal will open (for example, “Editing Right Edge”).
Under the segments for the selected edge, navigate to the segment where you want to add the Landing.
Open the dropdown menu below the segment name.
Select Add Landing.
A new landing will be added to that segment of the edge.
Entering landing Properties
In the Properties panel, enter the following measurements:
Depth
Width
Height (You can lock the height by clicking the lock icon. The icon will change from white to black once it is locked.)
Ensure you are entering values in the correct text boxes for feet or inches.
Option 2:
Adding a Landing from the Canvas
Click the Add Block + button on the Canvas.
From the four Add Block options, click Landing.
A modal will open. From the dropdown, select the Stair or Deckbox where you want to add the Landing.
Select the edge from the dropdown (Right, Left, Top, or Bottom).
An optional Segment field will appear. Select a segment if applicable.
Click Add to add the Landing.
To cancel, click the X at the top right of the modal.
Notes:
If the edge contains segments, click the desired segment. Just below the segment name, there is a dropdown choose “Add Landing”, and a landing will be added to that segment.
The ‘Landing attached’ option may appear greyed out if the Deckbox height is 15.25 inches or less. Once the Deckbox height is increased, the ‘Landing attached’ option will become available
Deleting a Landing
Click the Landing you want to delete. A modal will appear.
Click the red trash icon at the top right of the pop-up to delete the Landing.
