How to Use the Integrated Intercom

Follow these steps to navigate the chat tool and get support.

Open the Intercom

  • Click the chat icon at the bottom-right corner of your screen.

  • A modal will open showing three tabs at the bottom: Home, Messages, and Help

2. Using the Home Tab

  • Click Home to view all available options in one place.

  • From here, you can easily navigate to:

    • Chat with Us – to start a new conversation

    • Help Articles

3. Starting a Conversation

You can start a chat in two ways:

Option A: From the Home Tab

  • Click ‘Chat with Us’.

  • A chat window will open where you can type your message.

Option B: From the Messages Tab

  • Click the Messages tab.

  • Click ‘Chat with Us’ to open the message window.

4. Sending a Message

  • Type your message in the text box.

  • An upward arrow will appear. Click it to send your message.

5. Adding Attachments, Emojis, or GIFs

Inside the message box, you can:

  • Attach files – click the paperclip icon.

  • Add emojis – click the emoji icon to open the emoji panel.

  • Send a GIF – click the GIF icon and choose your preferred GIF.

6. Searching for Help Articles

  • Click the Help tab or select Search for help from the Home tab.

  • Type a keyword (e.g., Sign In, Password) in the search bar.

  • Select an article from the suggestions to read more.
