Applying Design Packages When Creating a Quote

Overview

Design Packages can be applied when creating a quote through the Logistics section.

This functionality is currently available only for the PCF tenant and is accessible for all roles when creating a quote.

Selecting a Design Package

To apply a Design Package:

  1. Navigate to the Logistics section when creating a quote.

  2. Locate the question: "Is a Permit required?"

  3. Select an option from the dropdown:

    • Yes

    • No

After selecting either option, a second field will appear, allowing you to select the applicable Design Package.

Applying Discounts

The discount behavior depends on the selected permit option:

Selecting "No" for "Is a Permit required?"

  • The Design Package selection field will appear.

  • If the selected Design Package has a No Permit Discount configured, the discount will automatically be applied.

Selecting "Yes" for "Is a Permit required?"

  • The Design Package selection field will appear.

  • The No Permit Discount will not be applied.

Additional Fields

The following fields will be read-only:

  • Does this job require an engineer?

  • Does this job require a septic tank inspection?

These fields cannot be edited when applying a Design Package.
